Schwinn Hollywood Women 26-Inch Cruiser Bike

I bought this bike and was really glad it was so easy to assemble. The hardest part of the assembly is having enough gusto to tighten the wheels. However, when I went to take it for a spin my foot rubbed against the front tires. This was easliy remedied. The front fork of the bike that the tire fits into simply need to be flipped around - so the schwinn name was facing in the proper direction and the angle at the bottom of the fork was facing outward. Once that was done - superb! I also added a basket to mine and it the perfect bike for heading to the market now. You can't beat the quality and price if you just want a simple bike to zip around your neighborhood. Schwinn Hollywood

NOT faulty design as "NightRider" believes
I'm not sure if there is some way that I could contact "NightRider" who also wrote a review on this bike. However, she obviously assembled her bike incorrectly. My fiance & I ordered the Hollywood bike & the Men's Typhoon, & we kind of rushed through the assembly. We were both very frustrated because the front tires rubbed our feet every time we made a turn. Well, we showed the problem to a friend who immediately recognized that we had the fork turned the wrong way. All "NightRider" needs to do is turn the handlebars so that the front wheel turns completely opposite (where the handle bars are actually backwards) & then loosen the handlebars, turn them correctly, & tighten them up. The fork should be pointing out away from the pedals, which in turn places the tire way out in front of the pedals. I know how frustrated she is! I was just ready to cry myself! I just hope that she will read this review because this makes a world of difference in a customer's satisfaction with this bike.
Now, for my complaint: my front & rear tires are warped so that they wobble back & forth...we initially thought they needed to be tightened, but the same friend looked & showed us that they are clearly warped. Otherwise, we both love our bikes.
