I really like the flexibility of the cable used in combination with the u-lock. I'm a bit disappointed with the length of the u-lock. It required me lock the bike close to the rail or bar. But that is a minor detail that can be overlooked because there are usually enough spots in bicycle-accessible areas to lock up bikes. Overall, I would highly recommend this product.
Customer Review: Good lock, small size can be a problem
I purchased this OnGuard Pitbull MINI DT 5008 lock after extensive research on the best locks and locking techniques available. I decided to use the Sheldon Brown method, which requires you to lock your back wheel to a rack or parking meter, making sure you pass through the rear triangle of the frame. A mini u-lock is recommended as it is harder for thieves to work with. However, the lock is so small that, depending where I can find to lock up, I can't get it to close using the Sheldon Brown technique and have to lock up somewhat more insecurely. The cable, while not capable of doing battle with a bolt cutter, is great for locking down my seat post - especially comforting given the rash of bike seat thefts in my area. The 5 included keys are handy so I can leave one at work, home, carry one, etc. Overall, a good value and exactly as described. I just wish I had bought a slightly larger lock given the dimensions of my bike/wheel and what I have to lock to.

Customer Review: Great Commuter Lock
Several aspects of the Bulldog MINI U-Lock make it a very good choice for the commuter in areas where moderate security is adequate. First, the lock is compact, easy to transport in most types of bike-mounted bags or packs, or on the frame mount (not used by this reviewer). The compact size is just right for a single point connection of a frame component to a heavy duty 'U' rack or a parking meter. It won't fit around the trunks of even small street trees - this is not usually a problem, since street signs and other urban elements offer plenty of casual anchorage points in most areas when bike racks are missing or full. Second, the lock is light-weight by U-lock standards, so it won't feel like a ship's anchor in your bike bag or on the mount. Third, the plastic finish coat and end caps are easy on your bike. And fourth, the five keys including a lighted key that are provided with the lock offer more lost or spare key convenience than is probably warranted.
In all, a solid, economical choice.

This set uses normal AA and AAA batteries, unlike other sets out there.
Beamer 1 (front): Easy to mount to handlebars with included mount. Also easy to remove as a flashlight. Uses two included AA batteries.
Blinky 3 (rear): Excellent rear light with 3 LEDs. Uses two included AAA batteries. With included mounts, it attaches to the seat post or to a thin rear frame. Unlike the front light, the rear acts as a reflector when turned off. When you want to remove it for security, it's just a click and a slide, and it turns into a clip light, similar to a belt clip.
For some reason, one click on the front light sets it to blink, and two clicks is a steady light. It's the opposite for the rear light. Oops!
Customer Review: Sturdy contruction but not very bright
I thought this light would suffice for my short ride home from work every night but its has a much more limited scope than I was expecting. If I could do it again, I would have splurged for a bigger light. Works great and has sturdy construction but is definitely the minimum you need for night riding.

I purchased this bar for an intended trip. I have a GIANT hybrid and my wife a TREK hybrid. While I was a bit apprehensive it proved me wrong. Not one problem from PA to Myrtle Beach via Jacksonville NC to see our daughter and then straight back. Over 1,100 mile and this was the first time we ever took the bike anywhere!

The Allen Tension Bar Adaptor is so quick and easy to use! I could have never mounted my bike on the rack on our minivan without it. It was a very good purchase and I would recommend it to anyone with a women's style bike that needs to transport it.
